The R.H. is still there I think. When we get more info on the show I will check into guest passes. If you are not a member of RROC they will not allow you in. Members and guests only has always been the rule. Ferrari is the same way.

George,

Just got back from Portland by Amtrack yesterday.   We yielded to UP and BN freight trains both down and back.  Our train hit the track layer with a work crew and initiated an emergency brake.  It was quite exciting.

Larry had done some painting on the back drop while I was gone.  We have more clouds now.  He will work on ridge lines and trees next.

Back to work.  Sue

Glad someone is working on trains! Sounds like the trip was little TO MUCH fun!

This beast has taken my time up in spades:

1994 S500 Embassy car. Bullet proof glass and doors. Bomb plates in the floor. This thing weighs almost 8,500 #.

All the toys including a car phone with encryption and a fax connection in the back seat. Needs some cosmetics but not bad at all. The fuel line at the tank is leaking so we have to drop all the metal protecting it. WHAT A MESS!!!

George,

With weight like that, you probably get gallons/mile instead of miles/gallon.

Don't forget to kick the tires on the locos from time to time?

Sue it gets 27 mpg on Highway and around 15 in town. Gearing is the key in this one. The "F" car is about 10 on a good day along with the RR but that is whay I drive a car that gets 30+ on a normal day.

Planning our West Coast treck now.

Happy new year.  It think this is my favorite of the pictures that you have sent.

Did you have family for the holidays? Or have any operating sessions?  Larry's friend came up on one of the days that I had to work, but I got in on tale end of the session.
