This is what has kept me occupied lately. A Swedish H3 steam loco I've built from a brass kit and in the progress of painting/weathering. Probably finished tomorrow..... :-)

Hey,Ken.

I started with a PCM that I got refurbished from the BLI website. Then I picked up a couple of bluelines...Then I bought two of the Genesis with Tsunami's...Then I got  3 of the MTH's. Now Athearn's saying they're bringing out another batch later this year - I'm going to ask my family to tie me up and lock me in my room until they're sold out, because I obviously can't control myself.

Oh well,I guess its cheaper than crack.

But with a hobby like ours ....we have something to show for the money we spend.

Hi, Sam:  Do you prefer Sam or Samuel?

Those are two of the Walthers kits. Since they sit in the corner,no one can see behind them. I just   used the back sides of the silos from both kits on the front side of the one to the right, effectively making it look 3 times as large.

rdgk1se3019: You make a good point. I like to joke around, but I thoroughly enjoy all the different aspects of this hobby. Well,ballasting....maybe not so much....

Ooops, hit "post" before I was done:

Graffen,I've been following your post on building that engine. It looks beautiful - could you possibly post some larger pictures? They say you're as young as you feel, but my eyes are very definitely 57 years old.

Middleman: either is fine, I am called both, and if you kidbashed the grain elevators like that, it was a very good job!
