Had some kind of blue UFO come flying through this evening. It was spinning and making quite an oscillating screeching sound.

Here, I got a photo of it!

Looked to be on it's way west.

Good to see some folks have dropped in today.

We went to the Outback Steak House about 2 this afternoon, don't know why we never thought of going out early before. No crowds and we are home waaaaaaay befor ethe loonies hit the streets. We might head uptown for a quick couple after 9 but not sure ye. More than likely will. Doubt if we make it till midnight. If we do we'll have to drive halfway across town to get home. Course that's only like five blocks. Either way I will be sober as a Judge. Wait, maybe I should say stone sober. You never know.

If I don't see some of you tomorrow, have a Happy New Year. As for resolutions, I don't really make them but if I do, I don't tell what they are until after I've broken them. Telling is a sure sign they will fail. Seems not telling isn't really much better now that I think of it.

EDIT: Oh, forgot. Ordered a new guitar from Musicians Friend today. Nothing real fancy. A Guild 12 string. Don't know why other than I've always wanted a 12 string and I like the way they sound. May regret it and maybe the old Martin may be a bit jealous, but that's the way things go. Besides, Rob got a snazzy tractor, I figure why not. Besides, I'm sure my Christmas present was a whole lot cheaper. Not as useful or practical, but cheaper.Laugh

Jeffrey,

Have you ever seen the episode: "Weeping Angles"
Or something like that? It was the one that the weeping angle statues come alive in the dark & when not directly seen by the human eye.... Very exciting & severely scary at the same time. One of my favorite modern episodes ever!!!   Very well done!

I will never see, & not see, a statue the same again!!!

I've seen all the 'Angel' episodes. Don't take your eyes off them! Don't blink! The only way to beat them is to get them to look at each other.

Have you ever wondered about Dr River Song? The first time viewers saw her was in the episode 'The Library'. She knew the Doctor but he didn't know her as she was from his future. Who is she? What's her connection to Doctor Who? Do you know? I do.

Peppermint tea, please.

***Chad, that was a great episode indeed. How long have you been following the Doctor? How about you, Jeffrey? I've been hooked on the series since Tom Baker days. They sure have come a long ways in the production and visual effects, huh!
