By "Road" caboose you're looking for main-line cabooses only?

Same caboose in my first reply but with a spiffy paint job.

This one is parked in Woodsville NH, less trucks, and looking a little shabby. I have no idea what railroad might have owned it.

These are at a nearby winery, owned by a railfan...

...These are at the East Broad Top...

...Illinois Railway Museum...

...another ex-NYC, on the Finger Lakes Railway...

This one's at the New Castle Industrial Railroad...

This one is in Alabama showing severe damage from Hurricane Michael, but I think it is very interesting.

This thread doesn't have enough B&W pics...

It's not much to look at here, but it was glorious in real life. It's one of the International Car Company 81501-81509 series cabooses, maybe 81503? crossing Rockport Road southwest of Bloomington, Indiana in 1971 while working the Monon's maple Hill Branch in quarry-to-mill service.

Ok I hope I don't sound like a girl. But I think Caboose's are "cute" LOL (like thomas the train cute) am I the only one that thinks that?

Here's my contribution. This one is at Colorado Railway Museum.

I dunno?  Will it withstand 100 MPH winds?

Well, you did say you wanted Road Caboose photos? Here's a caboose on the road!

That Peterbilt is actually on the old B&O right-of-way through Middlefield, Ohio.

No pictures- but saw a DM&IR RR caboose (number unknown) on a drop deck semi trailer heading south from Superior WI about 3 weeks ago. Caboose trucks were on the trailer of the semi following the one carrying the caboose body. Figured some one has a project in the works. Any one have any info about it?

Confused Besides the up in the air picture in Jackson, Tn which is located at the Casey Jones Museum on I-40. Great place to visit and eat. Casey's home is also there, they moved it from down town.

There is also another museum at Jackson, the NC SC&L Museum which on South Royal at the old NC SC&L train depot which is open, packed with memorabelia and pictures, along with a nice HO layout.
