Williamson, WV and passenger trains
Posted by Aikidomaster on Sunday, May 8, 2011 3:55 PM

I am wondering what passenger trains ran through Williamson, WV. I am "prototype freelance" modeling the N&W in the 1955-57 era. Roughly, modeling the Pocahantas Division from Williamson, WV to Bluefield, WV. I believe that the Radford Division ran east to Roanoke, VA. I am trying to justify using some Southern Railway passenger trains on my layout. I understand that Southern ran the "Tennesean" through Roanoke to Bristol using N&W motive power. Is this information correct? Any help would be appreciated.Big Smile
