Which DCC system to buy?

Huge outlays suck. Had to buy new tires last week. [:(!]

Thanks for all your input, Randy. I definately think I'll go with the Zephyr. Probably sell of one of my DC powerpacks, keep the other for jump ports. Any recomendations on decoders? They all seem more or less equivilent. I'm doing N scale and plan on retrofitting the old Atlas GP7s I have.

N scale is tough, most of the decoders are made to specifically fit certain locos. Check each of the main manufacturers for recommendations. In thse N scale locos withotu some sort of light board, you willlikely have to mill the frame, or have it done for you - Aztec is one of the companies that offers this service.
