I could show you some things that worked and some that did't.one thing I'am sure of is I have never followed a disign to the "T" and have never used foam on plywood the everyone do'es now! Jim See...! it's the simple solutions like that. My brain just doesn't work that way. My wife says I plan to much instead of just diving in and doing it. I think you have to be both ways, do some planing but dive in also. I'll try your method and see how it works on curves, hopefully it'll do fine. Darn Jim, just how big IS your master bedroom anyway! [:0] Sounds like you could turn around a Mack truck in there and not hit the walls. My wife has me painting the outside foundation today and we have a low hedge that goes across the front.
