1990's HO Scale LA Harbour switching layout
Posted by maturejools1959 on Thursday, August 4, 2011 12:46 PM

I am looking for the track plan and construction details for the Southern Pacific LA Harbour switching layout that was serialised in the early 1990's.  I remember that the layout size was 6'x30" and ideal for where I live.

Any help would be most grateful,

Julian Sprott

Maturejools 1959,

Would that not be a layout by mr Robert Smaus...?

Suggest you do a search for the article and find the proper MRR issue.

Mr. Smaus had an excellent series in MR about the layout, if you're at all interested I would obtain the back issues.

This site can give you an overview of the layout:
