Bullard's Bar reservoir is the largest water scene on the Yuba River Sub.  It was created on a foam base by using several layers of WS plaster cloth smoothed out and then a 1/8" layer of sculpted hydrocal for the lake basin. After coloring with acrylic paints--dark in the center to light at the banks, I poured in two layers of 1/8" Realistic Water, waiting about 36 hours between coats.   So far (8 years) no shrinkage or cracking.
