This is starting to sound like it may be fun.
How about something along the line of they must all have seating for at least 2 figures? To make it a vehicle of some kind. Other than that it's a freelance build all the way.

You betcha Troy, everything but the power truck handbuilt. I envision stuff gathered from the house and scrap box. That is why I want a spending cap- not only to keep the cost down, but to show the natural creativity of the builder, not what he can afford to buy.

Crap, now you want me to use my brain and think of a theme. What could be understood internationaly, I don't think a holiday would do, certainly not the 4th of July[swg] What about Vic's offhand suggestion, sci-fi? A Jules Verne competition??? A garden full of Victorian fantasy machines, I like that idea.

At first I thought Cap Bob's idea was really stupid until I turned on the TV and saw what was actually showing.......not so dumb of an idea after all.

In all seriousness, that would be really fun, have an international whacky build-off for the garden RR, you know, just have a bit of fun, and then post our creations and "vote" on a winner. I'm game!

I say the rules should be simple, I favor a 1 truck power axle, not to exceed 14 inch (0.35 meter) in length or exceed 50 US Dollar (41.45 Euro) in cost. No holds barred to the imagination otherwise.

Any takers or do you all want to defer victory to me?

Yes I am playing the part of a double agent as i had ti report on the layout of Troys place to Joe as I am the only one to have actually seen it.

By the way, if you intend to export trams to the two trees area (either N&M or reported competitor) you need to include air conditioning, It's almost as hot and humid as the domicile of the Devil!
