Have fun with your trains
QUOTE: Originally posted by mgilger About 560 feet of track down so far. It occupies a space of abount 100 x 60 foot area. I'll probably put down another 100-150 feet before too much longer although I'm getting short on my road bed ( #8 Limestone) and my balast ( Limestone paver). My wife has constructed the tunnels and made several of the mountains and of course planted all the plants. [8)] Having fun in Ohio.... Regards, Mark

I enjoy the modeling part of it far more than the layout part of the hobby. The layout is what killed all my previous attempts in the hobby, namely getting frustrated with the scenery process. thats why I'm taking my bloddy sweet time with this one, so I dont burn out, and doing all the scratch stuff keeps my fire lit! Its also why I so dang many locomotives for such a tiny tiny layout, I dig modeling loco's. PS theres a very good chance I might have to dismantle the Borracho Springs RR, again.....this time for a new garage/studio we've been talking about for years. The bad news is that my layout will be mothballed (or temp set up on the patio) but the good news is that when finished it will be housed in a drywall clad, air conditioned new home !!!!
