It's a large area to cover, and takes time.

We need more, and different paints, but not able to go to the store at the moment, so, on hold for now...

You need to paint a little Julie Andrews on one of those mountains!

We have been crafting our own cane cars, andt that is also on hold until we can get last bits to finish locally.  I'll have to get some photos up later.

Julie Andrews said that when they were filming that opening sequence, she kept getting knocked to the ground by the helicopter draft. And the director would say" O.K., let's get another take !"

love to see your cane cars !!

Still have a lot of ideas when the stores are open, and everything gets back to normal.

Decided to play " tender swap" today-- it changes the engine look completely!

This engine has come full circle: original boiler and tender reunited. It was originally a very early ten wheeler- with 45 degree bevel gears and sheet brass wipers touching the drivers. The boiler shell has been swapped around many times, currently riding on an Anniversar y chassis. I like this look the best!

Then I moved 25's tender over to the 5 spot. I like the " mini me " tender on this short engine !

This engine has a story to tell: I bought a brand new LGB mogul chassis. It was intended to be a drop in replacement for a mogul that needed it. I cut down a Bachmann ten wheeler boiler, 2 inches off the firebox end, and 1 inch off the smokebox end. The LGB mogul is much shorter than the ten wheeler!
