William,

If you need a fix, there is a G Scale club in Houston. It is the Houston Area "G" Guagers - or HAGG. They meet once a month for the meetings at varying members homes.

HAGG use to have an indoor layout at one of the malls but with that mall's demise, they are currently homeless[:(]. They do have a "Monthly Run" where one of the members opens up his layout to let people run their engines until they can find a new home.

If you want additional information, send me an e-mail and I can send you some details. I only spend about half my time in Houston but have made several meetings and it's a nice group of flolks. Membership is all of $25 dollars a year.
