Hi guys,

Railroad not named, probably never will be.

USA NW2 - Rio Grande
USA 38-2 - Union Pacific
Bachmann - Connie (yellow pine)
Lionel/LGB kitbash into a 4-6-2 Porter style (done years ago & needs refurb)

LGB Santa Fe drovers caboose, Bachmann centre cab caboose, 3 Bachmann Rio Grande coaches, Aristo Rio Grande snow plough, Bachmann NYC & Hudson River gondola, Bachmann Rio Grande box.

And a two thirds completed track system.

Cheers,
Kim

Hi Everybody! [:)]

Wow! Some pretty cool rosters out there. Envy, envy. [:p] I really love that Ruby conversion. [:D] Maybe in my next life! I've let too many unimportant things get in the way of trains. The roster (as of today, the list seems to grow longer every day... darn that ebay! [;)] ) of the BVRR (Buttonwood Valley RR) is as follows:

STEAM (LIVE) - Accucraft Ruby #7 in 0-4-0 configuration w/tender [8D]

This is the RR's workhorse. Because of very tight curves, it's about the only thing I can run and still blink once in awhile (I know, think Shay).

STEAM (DC) - Bachmann track powered 4-6-0 No. 49.

Being sent to the backshops for drive-train upgrade and nice black paint.

STEAM (BATT) - Bachman R/C 4-6-0 No. 7 (have to do something about that number).

Acquired for use by 4 year old grandson. But sure is purty!

ELECTRIC - Maybe.

DIESEL - Not a chance!

ROLLING STOCK -

Bachmann 1:20.3 Box Car
Bachmann 1:20.3 Gondola
Bachmann 1:20.3 Logging Caboose - Repainted green and lettered for the BVRR. Added operating marker lamps and interior lighting.
Bachmann 1:20.3 (I think) Combine - The only passenger rolling stock on the BVRR. Added operating marker lamps.

Aristocraft Snowplow

Bachmann Big Hauler Bobber Caboose - 2
Bachmann Big Hauler Std Gondola - 2
Bachmann Big Hauler Std Flat - 1

And that's it, for now. All rolling stock except the snowplow is Bachmann. The 1:20 stuff is great. The Big Hauler equipment is... well, not so great. The Big Hauler stuff came along with flea market finds and the R/C loco.

Watch that water level!

Hi rampageusa
I started with a set and 2 passanger coaches that was something like ten years ago.
I was going to concentrate on getting lots & lots of track I was not going to overstock like I did in OO scale guess what I overstocked.
Keep your eyes open for good second hand at reasonable prices that's how I came to overstock shure couldn't aford to at brand new prices.
Beware of LGB with bits missing even though every single piece is avalable as a spare part with the prce of some it becomes cheaper to buy a new one
regards John.

hay rob here

my 4-6-0 is a old one but i reworked it so it run o.k. i DCCed it and it runs better now +b,man track is not so good when it's old. when i get out side i'll hand lay like in my ho days you know ,wood ties ,long rails ,and the [banghead][censored]that goes with turn outs[:D]
[:)]
all my Gn15 is handscratchbashed and some crashed and i bilt it [:)]ing all the time.
some times i think i like the bild better then the run ,but i said with HO thin i finshed the main line

the hardest part is to start
