Great minds...

I got the same thing, different make, at a 100yen shop a while ago.  I haven't tried it either, though I expect it will do just what we want it to do.  When I get round to numbering I'll post a pic.

Went to a real print house other day and needed some numbers to place on the water tower and found this nice little thing which is size o in print and they have others. All you have to do is use the old ink pads. I am going to find out if it will work when I shoot clear coat on it.

Hi Toad, read all the way through as this was my first time to see this.  I cleaned out Hobby Lobby last year after Christmas with 90% off sale all their wooden houses, churches etc.  I bought like 12 of them for $20. Ha!  I painted 1 and shingled it too.  I need to post a pic. of the coaling station I built using that plastic foam board from H.L.  Barry

I check in here once in awhile but I'm never quite sure what's going on. I figured its just a few musings after a percocet and a few beers....

Well fingers are semi ok and started to finish the oil tank. Found that chalk is way different from my air gun and I am not liking the end product. Weathering with them is way different, said if I wanted rust to add rust, white, then grime.....well at the end of grime I almost swear I need to start over. The effect is not there. After viewing other post about sealing this stuff now I find I am going to be using a photo fixative (which I have) no sweat there.

People found out you use normal sealer it kills what you did.

Makes me think there is no place in large scale for chalk, just paint and sealer. Hats off to the guys who can do it and seal right, I guess they seal theres, but dang if there ain't a list out there to "how to get rust".....oh yeah that came like IE: Rust on the instructions.

What about the other 8 or 10 colors I have? How to mix?? What does.....

Anyways will place the pit-t-ful tank up when finished and p.o.ed enought.

Hey now......that was in the old days when I had my company and so it went into the trash (cut up and recycled really). I don't like ridged plastic ponds.

Looks like you tried to sit on it and broke it.  Way to go dude, someone gives you something for free and you have to break it.  I sse someone tried to use fiberglass to repair the damage.  Try fiberglass on the backside to reinforce the split, fill the crack with some "Goop" marine sealant.  I've used the marine "Goop" with very good success for items under water to contain the water.  If you do a good job cleaning the surface, it should do well.
