Yes, I agree also with this thread. It getting harder to find people my age liking trains anymore. What happened to a Lionel train being on every boy's CHRISTmas list? I think trains do strike interest in every kid, no matter if they like trains or not. Liking trains is nothing to be ashamed of, it does not make you weird, stupid, or anything else. I think train companies still focus alot more on kids that adults. (O gauge that is) It is great to have a forum like we do, I dont think i've ever seen a forum like ours. Everybody is friends and family here. I like to be here, I like to post and read and gather information. (But I dont like it when nobody replies to my post.... ).
Bob, actually his name is Brian Zeke Watkins, and that does sound like an interesting coincidence. Sounds kind of weird, is this our zeke? I mean, whats the chances? A guy having the same name, liking rc trucks, living in redding california, and being a vet?
I do see some evidence, in 'zekesters' profile on that site, he says he has 20 years of rc experience, so that means he started when he was 10, because he's 30 now.
Get well soon Zeke!!!!!!!

This is an interesting coincidence. There seems to be another Zeke "Brian" Watkins in Redding, CA, who, like our Zeke, is interested in RC trucks, has trouble with apostrophes, and is a veteran. However, he was shot in the throat rather than the heart:

I agree with you guys 100%.
A year ago, when I was in the hospital, I found out what a great bunch of friends I had, on this Forum. They helped me thru some bad times. I will never forget that.
And now, we will all help Zeke & Jenny with our prayers and hopes for a speedy recovery.
