Good Job Frank.  I like the scenery and your great collection.  Perhaps you can have a little section telling folks not to pass up on great offers and show the photos of the F3 setWink [;)].  You also need to have your list of all the attributes of the Tubular track.  For real though, I would like it if you had a guest book to sign.  So we can tell you what we really think!  (it's all good)

Thanks,

dennis

Very nice!  Looks like an excellent start to a very informative and entertaining site.  It'd be neat if you could post the Hi-res versions of the Loco pictures to share with your visitors...I've been running the 2343 AA picture as my desktop wallpaper for a few months now and after seeing the other pictures have an itch to change to, say, the 726 picture.

Nice work Frank.

Roland

P.S.  You need to add some UP ALCo's to your collection it seems...?

Perhaps make it look more like the pre war Lionel typeface?  or changethe font to look like the type on the tender?

I also need to redo the buttons across the top- as they are not as precise as I want them to be. The orange buttons across the top do link to other pages, although teh main pages do not have much content.

I like the top buttons.

Frank, you have a great way with the camera and lighting!

Great job!

Finally got my website started
Posted by Frank53 on Sunday, June 17, 2007 10:03 PM

It only took a year for me to finally get started on building my website - lionellines.net.

Been too busy with work-work to do much on the layout, however, since I have been chained to my desk for almost two months, I have been dabbling at building my website.

You can see the beginnings of it here ------> www.lionellines.net

Couple o' things:

The main pages are in place but only the home page is really complete with graphics, although devoid of most links.

I need to design a new Lionel Lines masthead - I just don't like this one.

I also need to redo the buttons across the top- as they are not as precise as I want them to be. The orange buttons across the top do link to other pages, although teh main pages do not have much content.

The four large links at the bottom of the home page are not active, yet. These will be features will include step by step photos for the subject matter along with descriptions on how to do some scenery stuff.

Heaven help me - but I welcome all feedback. Whistling [:-^]
