When you go to the Zoo and you see a 45 ft Python in a glass case, there is usually a sign that says "Do Not Tap On The Glass"
There is a reason for this.
One day, some jamoke is going to keep tapping on the glass to get the big suckers attention. The snake gets riled up, coils back and bursts through the glass and that's kinda, sorta teh end of that.
With that said - stop tapping on the freaking glass!

Our friendly banter has proven to be a welcomed part of my days. I admit that I was a total fool for not taking those 2343s when I had the chance. I kick myself every day over it. True story.
It wasn't the price that was the issue. You know that. It was my two boys. I was fearful of them destroying the "paper" or even worse, the trains. Precocious is an understatement in regards to them. The thought of them destroying something that special was what made me back out. But soon after declining the offer, I thought to put a locking door on the trainroom so they would not have unsupervised accress to the trains. By then you had decided to keep the trains for yourself. And I am now left to search elsewhere for what to me, is my Lionel holy grail.
If you ever change your mind, I'd still like to buy them! Until then please don't eat me!

Frank, I think he wants us to believe that he passed up a fantastic deal for $285.00 when he could have put a lock on the door for $2.85? This sounds like another Wit from Forest Gump. Not sure someone of such character should be allowed to have such a fine set of engines! Let me know if you have any of your fine pieces that you would like to part with, I will give them a good home, and I can afford the money for a lock on the door

Stop torturing me with these pictures! If I had the money, I'd buy them in a heartbeat! My entire layout is good old Irvington tubular, so they would feel right at home.
