Ya i have the same set, love it. Only complaint i have is how short lifed the straction tires were...5 months later and they are shot needed new rubber eh, maybe it was storage time or w/e b4 i got it, but the engines a beast 

Haven't had any issues with the rubber on the traction tires yet, but then I've only had it a couple months, plus its been in a box most of the time (only recently set it up permanently), so the wear has been limited.  But, yeah I really do love that Berkshire engine, she is just beautiful.  I can't imagine starting my collection with anything other than this awesome engine.

Sorry, I'm a bit late, but I needed new batteries for my camera, but I had to get some new close-ups of the Polar Express.

CTT Delivery Truck Hits Buckeye Bob's Favorite Holstein

Columbus, Ohio -  A horrific accident of epic proportions occurred today just outside of the village limits of Roger's Corners, Ohio when a truck owned and operated by Classic Toy Trains of Waukesha, Wisconsin struck and killed the prize Holstein of Buckeye Bob and crushed a restored classic automobile, owner unknown at this time.   The accident took place at the famous Bob Evan's Farm near the grade crossing with the B&O Railroad where extensive construction has been taking place for the last 20 years.

 

The driver of the truck, a Mr. Bob Keeler of Waukesha was taken to the Rogers Corners' Constable's office, where DNA tests were performed.   It was then determined that Mr. Keeler was the long lost husband of Barbie Buckeye and the father of Brutus Buckeye who reside at the Bob Evan's Farm.   Mr. Keeler is now resting comfortably at the Franklin County jail after bail money was not forthcoming from his employer.

The accident closed the crossing indefinitely backing railroad traffic up to Mingo Junction, Ohio.   When questioned, Mr. Kent Johnson an Associate Editor of the CTT magazine stated that it was possible that the delivery of the next issue of CTT would be delayed to certain southern states such as North Carolina and Georgia. 

I love the Mingo Juncton reference, that's my hometown!  In fact, my layout is a Mingo tribute.

Now we know why it takes so long for our issues to make it here, some Ohio Holstein is jamming the works.

Great photos guys.  Frank, I'll be Frank.  I did not see any hobos or other scandrels hanging around your tracks as usual.  As for the Buckeye accident, it was staged to try to discredit Bob Keller [not Keeler] and say something about NC [his favorite subject].   

Roger's Corners' local newspaper will probably carry a front page story of the accident.

Thanks, I was pleased with the way it turned out.  Should of seen it before I restored it.  On the top is it's original sister.  I have a soft spot for 350's especially with indented tenders and wire handrails!

 

I wish mine looked that good, course mine is a big Ford. LOL
