DOUG, take the PA Turnpike and you'll knock off 26 minutes.

Fifedog, after your lunch with the Chief you will have enough knowledge to be awarded a PhD. in Southern Redneck Cultural Studies. Take good notes.

Fifedog, you are already doing a great job of emulating the Chief by posting such a condescending reply. Good job!

You are correct Laz. Also the former Harris Tower Next to the station is being restored by the Harrisburg Chapter of the NRHS. Not sure when it is open to the public.

BTW there is a nice one at the PA Railroad Museum.
Also in the Harrisburg, Pa. train station along with a little red caboose, I am told.
Sorry, can't make the trip. I have met the Chief and he is a fine gentleman. I will stay back here with the reserves to protect the South and to organize a rescue party should the Chief be held against his will. Make sure you have plenty of Grits and Sweat tea available.

I have had the pleasure of seeing a GG1 "in the flesh." I have not had the pleasure of meeting Chief. If I lived closer, I would join in the festivities but it is too close to York to make the trip.
I probably have to surrender my "Buckeye" card again.
