My new Williams GG1
My Marx PRR
F J and G Thanks for the link! Lots of great photos there. BTW great job on your signal article...I just saw it the other day. Spray should adhere well to the shellac...the shellac acts as a sealer for the wood. Looks like a fun project.

Great shots!! Everyone!!!!
Tom!! Where did your 2-rail friend find the coaling and sanding towers? WOW!!!!!
Here are some close ups of the 5011 on the siding.
A local railfan caught a pair of NYC F uints with a short consist of new cars and piggy back trailers. Notice the last set of trailers, must be a load of new trains for your local hobby shop.
Underworld; they were from a Luxembourgoin website, http://www.rail.lu/wagonmines.html.
Well, here is our meager desk; we move Feb 5 (same job, different building). Any ideas for a 3-rail desktop trackplan? I'm thinking bent dogbone. At the worst, could do point to point and record a back and forth movement in DCS and loop the recording. :-) Now, how many levels can I get away with.
Work progressing on my Plymouth (got about 8 projects keeping me busy). BTW, I'm thinking about putting shellac over this wood when all the details are added. Does anyone know if spray paint can adhere to shellac?
spankybird and CSXect Thanks! Looks like I'll be shopping for a few MTH smoke units.
csxt30 Sounds good...I might be able to make the Sunday show.
The brass hats at Chessie System sent their newest GP-40 to Meyersdale, just in time for the town's RAILFEST! #4061 (part of an order of 65 from EMD by B&O circa 1971) brought with it some display cabooses, and tickets can be bought for railfan trips up to SandPatch and back ($10 cab ride/$5 caboose). Looks like Scruffy wants a piece of the big Cat!
Reggie - this is the MTH Premier GP-40 we had discussed before....and only 9 months past due date. I am very happy with it, just the same.

My OSU Train smokes very well as long as you use MTH smoke fluid, I tryed lionel fluid and it hardly did anything at all. Don't know at mega smoke in a MTH unit.
underworld wrote: csxt30 I do get to Cleveland area sometimes..... I probably would have yesterday if I knew there was a show. Oh well, not too much cash right now anyway. I'll have time to save some for the Toledo show March 11. I did get to an antique show here yesterday and picked up a plaster gargoyle that was used as a master to make production models. I think I might use it along side a tunnel entrance. underworld
