Sturgeon beautiful layout. I love all the color.
Jefelectric thanks for the info. That is pretty cool how all the hoppers were scale coupler equipped. Were the switches wide radius, or small radius?
Everyone here has done a great job. I should start getting shots of the floor layout when the tree is finally decorated. Hopefully it will be done tonight.

Very nice photos all.

Buckeye I like the idea of having the snow lit up.
Colin, The three outside loops that go all the way around the layout are TMCC. The smaller lloops in the center of the layout are generally run conventional. The Reading FA units in one of the pictures are mine & have the dummy running in front with the video camera looking through the windshield. I loaned it to them to run. It works fine when they have the room lights on but not to great when they dim the lights. One of the things that I found interesting is that 50 of those hopper cars were loaned to the layout by an O scale modeler and have scale trucks and couplers. He rigged the front car with one dummy Lionel coupler as an adapter. They ran fine on the outside fastrack loop, even going though 4 switches on every lap with no derailments while I was there. They were pulled by the two unit Reading diesel run as a lashup.

You are a wise and sage fellow Chief.

riverrailfan, I really like this photo. Did you use a star filter on the camera?
Yes, and I'm working hard to get off the carpet and everyone seems to be moving down to it.
Will try to get picture of my lastest purchase at train meet [FRANK53, get this]. Another 2055. Post War again. Also, suppose to pick up Jim A's 736 by the end of next week [for me and not him ]. Ran the repainted conventional NS switcher on the big room temp track. Ran good and all over the place with no problems.
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Chief must've snuck some carpet fibers in my food when we met last month. I woke up with an irresistable urge to . . .
CARPET RUN!!!!
Mrs did a great job on the tree, as always.
Lionel collector, stuck in an N scaler's modelling space.
sweeeeet!
Even Percy is in the spirit.
These are some of the cars I put together the last few years.
May I introduce you to the Polar Express.
Great photos everyone!
Here are a few pictures from the train display at the E-town Library.
They had a 57 car Reading coal train running on the layout. Mostly O gauge, but some G, Std. & N as well.
Clean Up in the Hot Chocolate Car! Spilt CoCoa everywhere! Even Tom Hanks didn't have to face those kinds of perils on the way to the North Pole!
Great Pictures. He looks like he's having some fun!
