STEVE, NICE job on the coal loads I made abunch of em last year for me and my brother. Coal is cheap here in Pa.
The little coaling station is a Lionel. I think I got it at a show for $12.
The breaker or the large building I scratch built after school in my shop.
CURLING Rink I am going to make tomorrow at school.
We have the dreaded Partent Teachers conferences and no one comes in to see the shop teacher so I am free.

KIETH, thats what makes training GREAT!
That Old Mil plant.

DON, LOVE the car.
O gauge?

ROY KUDOS on your NYC Express.
Still on my wish list.

Every one excellant stuff. Laz that is a great tipple and coaling station. Is it Lioenle and Walthers?

That is what i have been working on to day.

Mostly these coal loads.

Some were very snug, i didnt force them, just got a bigger hammer :D

A guy in Pittsburg, Waterman, made me thse lodas personaly. That is a surprise though.

I am sending him some scrip and some Pa RR memrobila, some stock shares and passes, ect for his kindness.

Laz, where is the curling rink?

Who invented that game, Newfoundlanders? Sweeds?

Good Afternoon ! Waiting for race to start !! [yeah]

So thought I would try to throw a couple of pics up.......

Our CURRENT layout, still up from Christmas

We have added a few pieces of rolling stock, essentially discovered K-Line (a little late) and MTH

One of our older favorite running pieces. (Purchased in 1974)

Plans for our "new" layout. What a problem it has been, Wet Bar vs 72" radius. The wet bar was over in the far right corner. Moved it and with some ideas from dougdarump, was able to get it all in. Have a minimum 20" inch access along the walls. (Gray area is the exterior walls. Red track is 72" mainline. (Eleveated on right side). 32" trackwork going in next.

Enjoy the race, (Hope Tony Stewart wins) or just enjoy the day and family.

Here is a template for a movie house that will be put together soon. (The right and left edges got chopped a hair when uploaded.)

It will be part of several flat backdrop style buildings. The plan is to print it on card stock or matt photo paper, and possibly mount it on foam core board.

Enjoy,
Birds

Tom you're an institution that should be considered a national asset. That layout is great, it always cheers me up on a Sunday morning. Obviously a labour of love and a darn good example of what can be done with toy trains. Cheers mate!
