Drat, drat: I'm following Tom's instructions but I'll bet kodakgallery has something weird with it - but I'm stubborn. I'm sorry for all the Xs and am going to download everything here at work and try it again.

Hi John,

Yes, still using the corrugator, I'm going to be adding on to this structure and build some more that will serve as trackside industries and double as garden tool storage. I want all of my outside industries to have a real-life function in addition to serving as models

Dave: are you still using your 1st. corrugator tool ?
Well, here's my new Atlas switch tower I put together the other day, along with my new engine sitting there.

How does one get a hound thru a window?

Or, more importantly, WHY would anyone want a hound to go thru a window?

But of course. The answer lies outside, where rabbits roam the plains. A window exit is just what any good beagle needs to get to the happy hunting grounds.

Now, the problem is, how does one get a hound thru a window????

Zebulon Tool and Machine Co. is now in place, functioning as a trackside industry and exit for BB the Beagle. A temporary track is in place, as the spur is about 35 feet from the mainline and not yet connected. It took about six dozen sodas to make this and there are about 200 windows made from you know what.

for an older train, I'm surprised it has "Acela like" features leaning out of curves:

Doug - very good pictures. I like your Marx Girard station - it looks to be in better shape than mine.

Doug - that picture of your partner's "usual roost" is great!

Don- good to see some of your trains! Can't wait to see what you do when you have your addition (or is that addiction?).

Regards, Roy

The wall (of the basement stairs) above my workbench. That's a 2001 calendar. The conductor's pouch is from the K&W. Boxcar seals and a few 'pinups' - the pennant is from the Branford Trolley Museum in Ct. This track cleaning car has been through several metamorphases. It started as an outsized 027 K-Line box car. I ended up using just the frame and trucks, taped down a few blocks, had to reverse the screws holding down the Scotchbrite pads. Any suggestions for improvements welcomed!!

Nice long run
Other corner of the layout - the curve at the end of the run. I rigged up a crossing flasher in the lighthouse, but it's not working for some reason.
The Marx crane and factory created by my middle son at the other end of the ridge.
The farm's figures are all pre-war

This is Junction, with a meet between two Western Hobbycraft trolleys.
Running to make the trolley in the town of Girard with my valentine's gift people and benches on the platform

Now at the other end, looking at the mountain with the beacon on top, a new unconnected siding by the oil tanks

Walking further down a bit and looking back to the village, you see the yard tracks in the foreground and the double main lines of the separate loops.

Pivoting a bit to look to the left - I slid the village over too - it used to be right at the bottom of the basement stairs - but I was looking to do something different after the holidays and ended up elogating it. See also my track cleaning car.

Right side of the layout, featuring the turntable, made from a lazy-susan, turned by hand - perfect size for a trolley or small engine. Tredegar Iron Works to the rear - an 'unfolded' K-line aircraft hanger

I've been out most of the day. This is the first I have been on the forum. Great layout shots: Tom (Good as always), Jon (loved the Aerotrain), Roger (Love the stone station), Laz (Looks good, how about some closeups), Don (the new layout should be a winner), Steve it looks like you are a Lehigh Valley fan, Pigseyes (I love log trains but they don't fit in on my layout). Maybe I will have some pictures to contribute one of these days.
