Nice Pics everyone! Buckeye-On that photo of Tom's you should have put a Cape on that Indian Chief then the Buckeyes would have the Famous "Super Chief" on a Boxcar.This would make a great Boxcar for the OTTS. Andregg1- Nice Tender you put together. You really have Excellent Craftmenship skills. Good job.

Ok, I posted just before X-mas that we moved and I was ready to start the layout process. I have a few of my shelves up loaded with old sets and trains. There are a few toughies here, can you find them? I'll try to take some better ones

Thanks chief! 1x4's with 2 groovs riped in them with 1x6's in r=the ends and dark walnut stain. They probably cost $30-40 per complete shelf unit and were all made over a weekend. So far te have been hung in4 houses! You can see the 4x8 I have been running trains on, I think I might be able to start throwing up some benchwork around the room, can't wait!

Part of a nice set of four 2623 prewar pullmans witha 226E that needs its rebuild finished up and a 1940 set of two tone green 2613/14/15 passenger cars paired with a gunmetal grey 225E. They look good together




Above the same 225E and 2613/14/15 at the 1115 station and a few platforms with some junky 2755's on the 4X8 I have set up right now.


Probably my rarest piece despite its seemingly poor condition. The shell is unbroken and unscratched wo it will clean up just fine.

Anyway just some more of my junk since I conqured the art of adding photos.

Doug, I believe the red passanger cars are 'Texas Specials'. They are K-Line from the KCC back in 97 thru 2001.

Also, thought you might like to see one of several Zurich cog lines. I took photos of the entire line but will just show a dozen going downhill from beginning to passing another cog...

New Hampshire has a cog railway. It goes right up the side of Mt. Washington.

That was the 1st cog; but the Swiss have us beat on the # of cogs. They're virtually everywhere and this one I' m showing isn't even for tourists! It's used by the residents to get home.

BTW, check out the cool turnout on the cog; talk about a STUB switch!

The Swiss LOVE their trains.

And they like them to go fast like this...





Actually, I'm not a big fan of these types of photos (which I also took in Zurich). Trains mag in Feb06 issue just ran a double page spread with a speed picture like one of these. It's sort of modern art, which IMO takes up valuable space; but hey, that's just me.
