Tom,
Nice photos, as usual. What grade on the downslope in the first set of photos? I am trying to have several graded lines in a 20x24 layout.
Thanks,
dennis

Dwiemer – If I recall correctly, its about 3 ½ % grade. It was based on the old Lionel trestle set. The down grade is on its own block with lower voltage to prevent run-a-way trains.

1862General – This layout is 10’ x 20’. I also have the second Circus Layout which is 5’ x 8’. Very nice pic of your layout.

I wish I had that much room for such a large layout! lol.... Mines "L" shaped with the back side being the furthest length at 11', left side is 5' and right side is 7'.

Beautiful shots! Thanks. I'm sitting here wondering why it took me so long to figure out that O gauge was the way to go! I spent all those years knocking myself out trying to create super realistic HO layouts and yet somehow those colorful, action packed pictures look much more 'real' than my best rolling vistas. The larger scale is easier to get good closeups of, true but despite the 'toy train' factor, they just look better.

That is not my tender, it is Andregg1's tender, because I do not have the skills to build something like that.

Colin--it's a BB1 MTH Premier 20-5561-1, quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Tim--your track cleaning car is awesome, thanks.

Of course it says, "Call of the North". We all know that great beers were made in the North from the clear, blue waters of our currently frozen lakes and streams and grain from our great farms and rich soil. Who did you believe would think different? [(-D][(-D]

Oh yea, I forgot about [D)]

Great photos everybody. I thought about posting photos this week of me cleaning the basement, but I'm too tired.

Tom,
You will be pleased to know that even though I spent the whole weekend cleaning the basement, I had the time to repaint your new car as we discussed last week.

I think you, John, Laz, Keith and many others will really like it.

It sure looks better that it did.
