To all,

When I first started reading this, I thought about posting as I am a member of OTTS. Then I read dtpowell's comment about the "Beautiful Ohio", and I felt that deserved some commentary as well. If you want true emotion, be a Hooser and listen to Jim Nabors sing "Back Home Again in Indiana" before the start of the Indianapolis 500. Buckeye, I think you know what I mean. Not even grits can top that.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Dave,
When can you come over and see your telegraph poles on my layout? I have had quite a few compliments on them this Christmas. Wednesdays nights are bad for me, but other days will work.

BTW, when I see you again, I have an idea of something you can make and sell in wood. Something no one else makes!! But every layout needs one!!

I think I bought a few items from Ohioans on eBay. These are the guys who stick it to ya with high handling charges! Just kidding. I just had to confess the little bit of Ohio connection that I had. that and I went to college in Pittsburgh. Of course that was when I was young and stupid. Then I got smart and moved south.

Doug, since you did not pay any sales tax on those orders to help us fund Ohio , we won't cut you any slack. I hope you feel better now.

That little handfull I can handle with one hand and sit and whistle DIXIE at the same time. Probably eat a bowl of grits with the other hand. Sure is strange how they have to drag in folks from the other states. Jimbo Duda, Roy has been helping me hold those Ohio Yanks back while I was eating lunch, dinner and sleeping. You can be a deserter but remember I have lots of fishing buddies [one train buddy near SA, goes to train shop there] in Texas that have a strong dislike for Yankess. They will hunt you down. [;)]

Chief, I think you can handle this like Sgt. York (another from Dixie) who took on the Germans. If you need backup, just give the ol Rebel Yell! I used to say that if you were into trains, you can't be all that bad, now I wonder.[;)]
