Thanks for the compliments Buckeye. And those poles sure look great on your layout! I will have to stop by and see the whole layout.

You asked, we answered.
So you got an answer you didn't like.
I suggest you don't ask if you don't want answers.

Wow! Today I attended a small show in Columbus and met David Baran, Nitro Boy on the forum and purchased several of his hand built wooden telegraph poles like Tom did when Dave was selling them up north. Unbelievable quality! The photos tell the story. What an improvement over the plastics. My artist daughter gave them a two thumbs up tonight when she saw them.

LOL - Wayne, I don't think we have to worry about me becoming a 'rivit counter'. The engine is an MTH Railking from arount 2000.

The poles are scale and look really neat. [8D]

Great pictures everyone.

Frank53,

It looks even scarier with the train blurred from high speed. Are you going to line the floor with pillows?

pbjwilson,

I always enjoy seeing your carpet railroad. The balloon launcher looks like serious fun. I have never seen one before.

These are the only 3 pictures I have of my 2005 Christmas layout for now.

A winter scene on the plateau area.

I took the 2 pictures of the bus because my brother just gave it to me as a gift. THere's some very personal history behind why we both flash back memories looking at it! I took them to show my brother that I gave the bus a special spot on the layout.

And don't forget, as Tom likes to remind us (thanks Tom!) - click on the picture to enlarge it.

Good morning gang. Here's the beginning of another scene on the layout. Mrs PE custom painted the pumper the other night. This small oil co. will be named for a friend of mine in Tx. that is in the Oil Business. He will get a kick out of it when he sees it............Tim

Oh yea almost forgot...Looked for pictures of sports cars to post on the TRAIN FORUM but could'nt find any in my collection.
