Couldn't tell you. An independent outfit does the drawing, and the company doesn't like to release a list until most of the winners have accepted the prizes in wiritng.

Yes, we have had people refuse the grand prize (not train folks, they just wanted cash - but there are no substitutions). Some people also balk because we have to report the winning to the IRS, so they refuse prizes because we need their SSN.

A few years back, in a real twist of irony, the winner of a Santa Fe diesel outfit sold the prize back to the dealer we bought it from - he said he already had one. Sold it to the dealer for far less than we paid for it. The dealer offered it to us again, but we passed.

When we know, we'll get it up on the website and will probably stick it in News & Notes.

That might be a good idea for the '06 sweepstakes!

I think we need a pair of hopper cars for next years drawing -

One with coffee grounds for the Coffee Pot Crew

The other with the stuff that is often produced by the Coffee Pot Crew.

I'll let you use your imagination on that one! [;)]

A CTT Coffee Cup Car signed by the Chief would be a great prize. In fact a series of Coffee Cup Cars would be an interesting collection. Each year, CTT could have one of us character sign the car. I know if there was a car with Buckeye signed on the side it would sell millions. (My mom would buy one.)

I think the coffee cup is a great idea! [:D] CTT would make a fortune off of them and them could offer the magazine for free!!! [;)]

Seriously, the CTT coffee mug would be a great item. I think OGR offers a mug or did in the past. How 'bout it guys?

Dr. John, The first hopper would be OK but the second hopper would have to be way to big for any of our layouts might fit on UP's. [(-D]
