Mornin' guys and gals. Sunny and 58 in the Potomac Highlands. Will be at the museum and caboose today.

Yesterday, Ms Kelly wanted to go for a drive, so we made our way up to Deep Creek and Oakland, MD. There are several shops that we frequent when in town, and she picked out some baubles and trinkets, mainly decor. However, I was able to score a near flawless AF 933 B&O boxcar. It had a decent box, but flap was torn off. $20  When I saw it, I said,"You're going home with me."

Got to put in my occasional page 1 appearance.  No train related items.  Mowed the lawn, beat my wife in a game of cribbage over a cup of espresso, took a pontoon ride around the lake and got the picknic table legs wire brushed in prep for new paint.

Nothing train related to report for now...

Good Morning

Pumpkin Spice Grits?  Yeah, I'll pass...

Great time seeing Rammstein in Philly - short sleep time - 2nd cup o'joe down the hatch.  Jenni is dragging behind as well, she just left for work, albeit late.

Plans for tonight, check in and log all my "sets" and get them in the attic, then start clearing out the garage for a going through in 2 weeks.  Will be over the Pricess's house to help her put away a few things and I may bring home more train stuff.  Then that will be logged in and inserted up in the attic.

In clearing out the sets, I got to move and group some limited edition things like the Lionel Train Day cars, the Atlas O Golden Spike cars and the TCA-Message Group cars.  All 1 issue only and most still boxed in their shippers.

Once I get all those sereies together, they they will make the trip over.  Then get logged in and noted.  This will help with insurance which I'm thinking about and will help me either get additional rolling stock or decide not to get more of same.

I have a few boxed engines as well, so I need to get them in 1 spot and geet them all logged in and put away.  I have found my Conrail set with add on cars by K-Line.  This was given to employees with a good safety record.  Love that set.

Loads to do, we sign the papers for house sale on the 12th.  I anticipate closing in October or Early November.

OK I've rattled on enough - back to work

Mornin' guys and gals. Sunny and 59 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. We did get that rain, and I did get the yard work finished. Been spending the last couple evenings in the train room, working on the scenery on the last section of the layout. Giving the Lionel Generals a work out as well, with no pile-ups. However, the outlaw keeps catching his head on one of the tunnel portals.Black Eye
