Where did you all see the catalog and pics? I'm waiting for mine to come in the mail. I checked Lionel's web site and they are still talking about the '04 catalog.

I haven't looked through it extensively yet, but the starter set add-on packs sure do look like a winner to me.

For the price, I think that they definitely have more play value than a comparably priced amount of rolling stock or track.

I just looked at the new lionel catolog. Jerry (not me [;)][:D] ) has done wonders with his new president seat! They starter sets are full of playvalue when you buy a add-on pack. They come with a fastrack uncoupling section, operating car, dump bin, and another piece of rolling stock! Its only $40. Jeez, this is looking good already. [:D] They have also made the first(?) O-gauge Cab- forward, and it looks superb from the catologue pics. Lionel has added many new sets to the lineup. Postwar-styled sets, such as the super-o one, which comes with a operating milk and horse car. To many other cool things in there. THIS IS GOING TO BE A GOOD YEAR![:D][:D][:D]

The blown-away Jerry[^]
