I was thinking a better name would be the Foreskins, more descriptive of the elected officials that go to Washington year in and year out.

Looks like there's a name change in the works for the Washington Redskins. One of the proposed new names is the "Possums." Why? Because they play dead at home and get killed on the road!
Morning. 92 and 63% humidity. Most days this week will have over 100 degrees in heat index.
May go to farms early tomorrow and come back early.
Did some Train Box work yesterday.
Food security phone meeting in a few.
Have a good one.

Morning gang!
Sunny. 100 official yesterday. Repeat today!
Had a nice dinner with the kiddos last night. Hoomidity dropped - even though it was 98 with a lite breeze, SIL and I sat on the back porch solving the world's problems.
Fife - that was one of the best race endings in years - and great to see a rookie outrun the pros, 4 wide to boot! BTW - garlic
Regards, Roy
Mornin' boys. Reading up on the Bonhomme Richard fire, in Dougnotta's back yard. Low temps and low humidity = mowing high lawn at Fifedom. If only I could get the skeetoes to stop biting... Hey, if I eat a lot of pepper, will that make me less appetizing...?
The Queen is back in her castle. We stopped at Lowes and picked up a butterfly bush and mulch for the garden. Then dined at Red Robin.
I've been working on more trees for the layout, and cutting cardboard strips for the hardshell scenery.
Good NASCAR race, and exciting ending. One of the regional footie-ball teams is changing their name...and I could care less...still. Curious as to what MLB will look like.
Grandson's birthday party went well. We had a short downpour before the thing and I was afraid we were going to be washed out, but things got nice.
Lots of kids and lots of dirt bikes, power wheels and gator rides, slip and slide fun, food and watermellon, ice cream. About 1/2 hour after the last of them left it rained hard. We have got 2.3" in the last 48 hours, and we sure needed it. No water running through the ravines, just got sucked into the ground. Only low to mid 80s today then temps will go up all week.
The kids did a nice job of cleanup after the party and I was glad they did not leave it all on us.
Have a great day.

Morning folks!
Strange - the day started cloudy and 79...but the sun is out now...100 predicted and still very hooomid!
Laying low & in the shade today!
All the kiddos coming tonight for family dinner!
Morning. Hot and humid already. Staying in.
NC has highest jump in cases yesterday. Hospitalizations jumping fast. All officials are saying, "Wear your mask, social distance and wash your hands. BS!! Then they are pushing to reopen schools. BS!!! Glad I'm not in CA, AZ, TX and FL.
Hope all have a safe and healthy week ahead.
Sun and comfortable 80's today. 90's are looming for next week though. We like to sit out in the evenings, usually till just before dark. The daylight is getting shorter as we are now in before the 10 o clock news.

wrmcclellanIf there is a coin shortage it is because none of the banks here will take them from you. Will not take them loose.
Must be the bank's policy or even something particular to the part of the country you're in. Our local bank, BB&T, has no problem receiving coins or coin rolls, nor does another we do business with, First Union. No coin shortage around here, at least none that I'm aware of.
Mornin' boys. Partly sunny & 68 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. SirJames is sending me his cool front. Will relay for Wifey sometime today.
The roof hanging at my buddy's church went well. There were 8 of us to hoist things up and tack things down. Felt good to help.
Then went up to visit FifeMom. My sister and nephew are spending the weekend up on the mountain, and had a nice chat. Trying to hammer some things out in prep for the inevitable.
Youngest Princess went driving with Nurse Princess (she prefers her Tucson). She picked PapaJohn for our dinner.
More than likely they instituted same crap here. You know the old saying, "Stupid is as stupid does"
Dougsnotta - yeah - forgot to mention they do not have them at my local stores anymore. It was dubious anyway - you had to take a "gift card". The machines no longer gave you cash (rounded down to nearest $1 + fee). My experience - we never had the receipt process at our store.
Roy, A lot of the groceries around here have the coin sorters that will give you a receipt that you take to the grocery cashier and they will pay you, of course there is a fee involved.
As you may or may not have heard there is no eating at indoor restaurants, outdoors only. So I had to make a run to Lowes and of all the places you could go for "patio" dining the last place that would come to mind is Denny's. Lo and behold it's 100*+ and here are some people eating lunch on the Denny's patio, actually part of their parking lot. P.S. In this heat there ain't no place I would go to for "patio" dining.
Evening folks!
Sunny, HOT, and hooomid! But it only hit 98 here today.
Got the El Cam through inspection today, so good for another year. And it is at the house - in the grarage - for the first time in about 18 years. It sat outside at a friends house for nearly 10 years after the fire. Can start some work on the doors, power windows, power locks, A/C system. Rock Auto and OPGI here I come!
If there is a coin shortage it is because none of the banks here will take them from you. Will not take them loose. Will not take them in coin wrappers (afraid of being stiffed for 50 cents of slugs). Talked my bank into it once as long as I sat there and wrote my DL # on each wrapper - but that was years ago before you had to worry about some jerk stealing your DL# for nefarious purposes. And even dumber, they have a coin sorter for commerical accounts and will not let you pay them to sort them. I have piles of coins.
Annnd - our bank has been scammed multiple times for depositing bad checks for $10-15,000, with a $2000 cash back. They worry more about loosing 50 cents than losing thousands. Banks do not hire the best, eh!
I have heard you can take them to a Federal Reserve Bank, but that is in downtown Dallas and not worth the trouble/parking/street people, etc.
Chief there isn't it's some BS that someone is doing, there making it look like there is for some sick reason
Life's hard, even harder if your stupid John Wayne

Morning. Hot and humid. Errands and go with Wifey to FIL's house to work inside. Be glad when they sell that place.
Hope all are OK.
Tom, national NBC news had thing on bike shortage. Why is there a coin shortage??
Have a good one. [software stinks. slow response since new Edge]
An overnight rain brought a drier breezy morning. Going to 88 today. We usually sit on the porch till dark and can already see it getting dark earlier.
Hello there,
couldn't log in to post for a couple days, finaly got in today on laptop.
Word of the week is HOT. It's been in the 90s and dry. Had 2 thunderstorms coming towrd us this past week, both broke up and gave us only a little rain. Mrs and I have been staying inside until it cools of a bit, then doing gardening and watering. Still so humid I have a hard time breathing.
Lung doc on Tuesday started to blame heart again. Didn't know what to say when I told him I passed stress test just last week. Then did chest xray that was fine so ordered bloodwork and a high resolution CT of lungs. That will be Monday.
Son did combine rye yesterday. Got about 80 bushel. Not bad for the small field and how dry it's been. Bale the straw one day this week.
Best get on with the day
Prayers for those in need and the end of this pandemic.

Morning all.
77* with 90% humidity this a.m. going up to 94* today.
Need to get moving before it gets to hot out there.
Hope all have a good day.
Mornin' boys. Rain and 69 along the Patterson Creek cut-off and we need it. Supposed to help a buddy raise a pavillion in a little while. I hope we can get'er done.
Wifey went to visit grandsons this weekend. She got to go to Hobby Lobby, so she's happy. I got to go to Texas Roadhouse, so I'm happy.
Good suggestions on "Charlie". Thanks to all. Actually, there's a big doe outside as I'm writing this.
Dougnotta - Name is Grillin' Time.
All clean, I change my filter first of every month. He mention the coils where clean so it proved I did. There going to call Rheam Monday for some sugestions.
rtraincollector Kevin the freon is not leaking. It's keeping right where it needs to be. Everything checks out as it should.
Kevin the freon is not leaking. It's keeping right where it needs to be. Everything checks out as it should.
Humm, if that is the case I would be thinking not enough air flow over the A-coil? How clean are the filters and do you have clean return air ducts?
Just a guess. I used to work on that stuff but it was on tractors.
What in the hell is going on today !
It has been telemarketer/robocalls what seems like non-stop. I'll be running out of space on my "block call number" list. Guess I'll have to go in and delete the older ones to make room for some new ones.
Cooler today only mid 80s. We got .8" of much needed rain over night. The sims cards were not the same from the old phones to the new ones so I had to transfer all phone numbers the manual way!!!! What a PITA took three hours to do both phones.
Daughter is here setting up stuff for the grand-son's party tomorrow. Almost ready.
RT, sounds like the old leaking A-coil. They don't care how old they are.
The one on this house went bad the first year. On the third one now, 15 years later.
Fife, I hope it is a girl bear, those moms can get mean!
Best get back at it.
Fife, Hope this bear isn't a relative of Charlie.
Afternoon all
Still can't get on with Chrome.
93* feels like 99* with 49% humidity.
Well installed the A/C unit in the shed :)
Will probably run my electrical this weekend, so when I run a line out to the shed it's ready to be connected.
Got the loft moved from the one end to the other so I have 8' of loft space instead of two 4' sections.
A/c unit froze up again today. This unit is only 1 1/2 years old. there trying to figure out what is wrong. This is like the 2nd time in about a month.
Cooling off some right now after being out in that hot shed. Need to put some hooks up for different items, lawn tools, extension cords etc.
Delivered 225 produce boxes to low income trailer parks. Hot and humid. Did get a small shower yesterday afternoon as I finished watering back gardens. Every little bit helps.
Resting up today. Pickup taxes this afternoon late. Getting big refund sort of. A lot of what I paid in quarterly. New CPA. Charges more but does advisory for a year. Does her job well.
Use the ground [not crushed pepper]. Works as they sniff it up their noses as well as burning their mouth. Works good on deer too.
Later.
