Mornin' boys.  Overcast and 40 along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  Back yard is a soggy mess, so I just threw down some grass seed.  Not much going on today.

Spent the past day watching the roundy-rounds.  Lots of carnage on the track.  Entertaining, but not sporty.  Miss Deegan did well in the ARCA race.  Love the Valvoline colors on the 88; old school.  Gibbs cars are stout, as always.

Morning, Colder and will be down to sub-zero by Thursday if they are right.

Watched the Bush "Crash" yesterday. Thought maybe they would run out of cars before it was over. Laugh

Slept through the Oscars. Sleep

Not much else.

Good morning all,

Did 9 miles Saturday in 2:23:28 for 3.75 MPH average and nothing else that day.  Was exhausted afterwards.   Swept floors of house Sunday and ran some errands.  Rainy.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Evening folks!

Very overcast, drizzly, and pretty warm today. 60's. Front tonight, 40's tomorrow.

Repaired a propane tank top heater for a friend. Needed a new thermostat. Tested it for a couple of days and liked it so much that I decided to get one for myself. Found them at Lowes and lo & behold, they are clearancing them out at half price! So ran over and got one. Glad I did, they were almost out of them.

Sunday. 5pm. Snow arrived. Suppose to be out of here by midnight. Four days in a row of pesky snows.

Hello there,

Wupped, son and I split enough wood to last a couple of weeks this morning while waiting for a hay buyer to return for another load. Hay is all gone.

Tractor ran the splitter better than ever. Today we decided the new whine is coming from the oil cooler. The supply line to it was broken completely so we may have never heard it work before.

This afternoon Mrs and I  got a ton of hard coal for the farmhouse and did some grocery shopping. It was 8PM till I got it in the house and everything cleaned up.

Bed is calling.

Prayers for those in need

Evening folks!

Overcast part of the day. Made it into the 50's. Not bad. Might be warm for a bit tomorrow and then rain sets in starting tomorrow afternoon for several days...and it was gonna be a 'dry' winter....

Did some puttering around in the garage shop area with a small project and cleaning the machines. Mrs and I went to dinner at a seafood place tonight.

Sunny and 50 [guessers said high 42].  Cooked lb. of bacon for breakfast biscuits.  Rest Ziploced and in frig for more breakfasts.  Range cleaned and looking good.

No power outages today [knock on wood].  Puke is horrible.  Didn't have these problems with Progress.  Crooked politicians in NC allowed merger.

Hope all have a great weekend.  Friend Gail sent Wifey photos of snow in Athens GA.

Mornin' boys.  Cloudy and 30, with a light covering of snohizo, along the Alleghanie front range.  Youngest Princess home for the weekend.  I am conductor on tonight's dinner train.

Spent time in train room yesterday, hooking up lights, planting more foliage, and prepping tomorrow's SPF.

Rain has finally stopped.  Sun would come out, cloud up and rain and on and on.  Windy and turning cold fast.  Dropped from mid 60's to 43.  May hit 31 by morning.  Then back up again.

Puke Energy dropped power at 8:30.  Back on at 2:00.  All for a pole replacement.  Whole town out.  Service getting worse.  Duke too big now.

Gas went the other way.  Was $1.94 yesterday and $2.29 this AM.

Have a good one.

Hello there,

the winter without snow continues. High 30s and raining now  but supposedly getting a couple of inches tomorrow.

Grits aren't bad. Have them occasionally for breakfast

Jury duty here is hard to get out of. You can delay but eventually you will serve.. Mrs got seated on a jury a few years ago but got released because the arresting officer was a friend and the judge went to high school with me.

Got the tractor back in one piece again and working. Turned out that  an internal hydraulic line connection failed again. Tried to get a new one from the Massey Ferguson dealer. According to the serial number what we had shouldn't be in our tractor. What was supposed to be there wouldn't fit. Local hydraulic shop couldn't bend a line tight enough. Took some afro engineering but (knock on wood) the original line is in and holding. Going to test it on the log splitter 1st nice day.

I bought grandson a drone for Christmas. He couldn't get it to fly stable so gave it to me and wanted me to return it. I studied the instructions and YouTube and decided it needed a drift adjustment. Did that and got it to fly around the yard a couple of times before it started gaining altitude and flying west refusing to respond to the control. I even tried emergency shut down but it is gone.

Best try to sleep.

Prayers for those in need

Jumped on the marker rebound yesterday and pulled enough money out of the 401K to pay off the Gator XUV 590 next Monday. Yes

Good Morning from a wet 37°F Southern Ohio

Still working through the supervisor qualifications for the new job and reviewing documents for the supervisor position I was hired for.  It’s like I’m getting qualified for two areas at the same time.

Chief – Glad the back injections worked

Roy – I had a jury summons for this past Monday but when I called Sunday for the status and the court was canceled

Doug – That music / cartoon was funny !

Banks – I agree.  My favorite football to watch is high school football.

May God bless you and your families

Jim

Good morning all,

Busy day at work Wednesday.  Watched the LEGO builder contest show last night.  Could do without the host, but the creations were good.  Weather bad, but made it home last night and work today.  I hope everyone has a good day.

The back thingy went best ever and fast.  Got another ACE brand back brace [have one in pickup for farm and chores use].  Have a Copper Fit one in house.  Worthless.

Chief - Good luck with your procedure.

sirjames - Promise me you'll never change.

Mornin' boys.  Cloudy and 40 in the Potomac Highlands.  Wifey wants to go to the Short Gap mall (aka Dollar General).  Actually, I like their small bags of grass seed.  I spread the seed out last year, before each snow, and the lawn looked pretty good in '19.

Spent more time in train room, planting foliage and floral.  May have stumbled on an easy product to create distant wooded "canopy".  Need to get back to Hobby Lobby.  I started piecing together my Green Spring area.

Good morning all!

No snowhizo! Heavy cloud cover kept temps from dropping below freezing. It is ugly, drizzling, and gray out, 30's for today...damp, cold.

No real plans today. Taking it easy and will piddle around with some more train repairs - sorting through projects to see which ones are worth doing and those that go to the scrap bin.
