V8Vega

I also got the Real ID so now I can fly when it's required next Oct. Whole thing took 3 hours, mostly the real ID, mostly waiting.

That is something I don't need to get, thank goodness. As being classified as retired Military and having a military ID and wife having the one for spouse we do not need to get one as it acts as real ID for us. ( yes I've checked into it about three times because of the wife worrying about it, then the other night the news reported that and now she finally believes it, just love it when I tell her something I know but she needs more proof.

Well layout is coming along, got first loop down, but need to replace two sections of track because my engines for some reason are having sparks at the pick-up and thats not good for engines with command in them. theres only two sections that do that and of coarse one is at the left side and the other is in the back section of the layout.

Then onto wiring the layout the rest of the way. I have like two drops done but have like 6 others that need to be conected to the power strip.

Morning.  Beautiful day out.  Sunny and 50's.

KEV, stop trying to eat chicken bones.  Don't even give them to dogs.  Jokes aside.  Glad you are OK.

Had over 50 people here yesterday afternoon for lady announcing her running for State Senate.  Lots of "politicos" including US Congressman.

That was after driving across county to BIL's Dad's visitation.  Rush Rush.

Service CRV this AM.  County Commissioners this evening.

Later.

Good evening all,

Wow, that is quite the story, Kevin.  Evidently you are well enough to be home.  Will be interested in the details.  Got most of the Christmas stuff put away.   Did a 4 mile walk this afternoon at a 16 minute pace.  Had to jog a bit to do that.  Weather nicer today but did the walk inside.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

I am back, bet you never missed me! Laugh

Just got home from a 15 minute procedure that lasted 50 hours included a ambulance ride and two nights in the hospital. A punctured esophagus.

Will tell you more when I get caught up here.

Buckeye Riveter

fife... We have had great experiences with Lowes delivery, not so great with Home Depot. Lowes has their own delivery trucks in this area while HD contracts them out.

Same here.

Cooler and sunny.  Busy day.

Mornin' boys.  Thin layer of Snohizo along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  Actually fired up the pellet stove to take the chill off.  Will have Christmas tree/layout totally stored away by noon.  Trying to convince Wifey we need another store room shelf unit, just for the Dept 56 items.  Stuffing those things back in their tight packaging is murder!

Banks - Rock'n it old school.  I like that.

Mornin' boys.  Foggy and forties along the Patterson Creek cut-off.

Took Wifey and youngest princess to Lowe's yesterday.  They are having a 40% off/free delivery appliance sale.  New GE fridge and dishwasher will be headed to Fifedom.  Wifey happy.  Went to Applebee's to celebrate.

Perhaps I can get the youngest to help me set up a Shutterfly account today.  Would like to fire up Sunday Photo Fun again.

Mornin' boys.  Wet and 42 along the Alleghanie front range.  Took Christmas down inside and out yesterday.  Tree still up, as well as North Pole, and I'm being told that's being put away this weekend.

After a nice fried chicken dinner, spent the evening in the train room.  I've been running a mish-mash of equipment this past month, so it was nice to return the "old tyme" choo-choos to the 4 lines.  Youngest Princess is supposed to finish painting my canal before she heads back to college.

Morning.  52 and going to mid 60's.  70 tomorrow with some showers later.

Dennis, agree with KEV.  No transfer means you still own vehicle.  Hope you have bill of sale to prove you sold.

Fifey, warm up from that day in the cold.

Banks, Wifey will not let me have mounts.  Will put antlers in Train Box.

Country ham biscuits, blackeye peas and turnip greens [no collards yesterday].

Buckeye, Knob Creek is better [get the stronger version 120 proof].

Anyone heard from Brent?

Mike, you still chasing that round ball?

Later.

Chilly here on the North Bluff as well Fife, but full sun helps.

Taking wife tp PT at 10:30 then no plans.

Dennis, that is weird that the plates stay with the car when you sell it. Seems it leaves you open for all kinds of issues.

Nice pictures Banks, The great room freaked wifey out... Laugh She won't let me have one deer head. SIL wants to give us that 12 point he got here last year but she is having no part of it. Tongue Tied

Re-uped my CTT seeing as thet dropped the price an extra $10.00 to get me back.

Get to have my throat opened up some more tomorrow with that ballon thingy. It sure helped the last time so this time should get it back to the right size. It was so small the last time they did it they said I would need a secont shot at it to get to size without tearing it open. He said it should be around 22mm and it was at 10mm so they went to 15mm last time and will do the rest tomorrow.

We have a 5" lift mattress wedge coming today to help with my Gerd. Hope it helps.

Best get!

Good evening all,

Good weather today.  Went searching in the attic for train stuff and found lots.  Nothing implemented yet, but have material for lots of projects now.  Watched "The Two Popes" on Netflix tonight.  Even if you are not Catholic, it is still a good show.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mornin' boys.  Sunny and a breezy 39 along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  When every one else was celebrating the New Year's, yours truly was performing a class 3 brake test, in cold snowy weather.  Didn't walk into my house until 0230 hrs.  Just another day.  But, it was the last trip for 3 weeks.  Gonna take several days to just try and get healthy.  Getting back on keto too.
