Heres what the wife got me all I asked for was the 6467 misc. car she said she found it with the rest here cheaper than just the car alone.
Hope all had a good christmas
Merry Christmas to all

Santa threw two Benjamins at me, said "Take care of yourself, you PITA!"
You did good RT,
The Gulf tank car is cool so is the 6467 and the caboose, The gondolas are a dime a dozen but still you did better than me. Give her a hug.
All I got from my wife was some of my own cash to buy parts for that pos I got from the "Traindude"
Merry Christmas to all as well.
Here is what Santa got himself. Now just to get it fixed up so it runs like it should of when I got it.

NICE RT! Your wife is like mine. 1 in a million. No trains for me per say, but I did get a few really great books on the railroads of NJ. "Iron Rails in the Garden State" and "Railroads Of New Jersey, Fragments of the Past in the Garden State Landscape" and "The Big Book of Lionel, 2nd Edition".
Kev, Good luck with the Traindude Incident! I got beat a couple of times also on Sleeze Bay!
I got a train snowglobe that plays christmas carols off key!

Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
Southern Pacific Shasta daylight 6 car passenger set.
This is a great looking set from Lionel, the best ever in my opinion.
Lucky you. Hell would freeze over before my wife would buy me train stuff.
Wife is pretty understanding.
I used to run a heads up drag car. This is a very affordable hobby, and a little bit safer, compared to that.
Those cars are 19" long each not counting the couplers or about 4" longer than regular Lionel aluminum passenger cars. The detailing is excellent.
This
I am a happy dog.
a few more for the outdoor track...
Two Carnival pieces to add to the Carnival on my layout, a couple of other items and two fresh Benjamins to do as I please.
Mike

Ray,
I was waiting for your post. John PM'ed me a while back when he was looking for a 336 for you asking if I knew of anyone who might be selling one. It was tough posting on the Coffee Pot and trying not to let anything slip.
Yes Jim, I was re-missed about not thanking you earlier as well. HudsonJohn did mention you helped in this also.
Thank you VERY much!
Glad I could help. How does it run? Looks very clean.
I got the Lionel Legacy system for my O gauge stuff, as well as a loop of Kato HO unitrack and a Bachmann HO GE 45 tonner for my HO collection.
My wife gave me three MPC-vintage PRR heavyweight passenger cars, a 6417 caboose and a 2452X gondola. My 681 is hauling the passenger cars around the layout even as I type.
green97probe Ray, Glad I could help. How does it run? Looks very clean.
Jim - It'll run as soon as I fix the coupler bar. It became disconnected to the rivet on the tender. (Before I opened it!) Long story.
Was looking at a engine again tonight been looking at them for about a month or so on ebay well this one even had orignal boxes. wife walks in and say you really want that engine why. Told her its all I need to make the 2265WS set complete I have the rest including the set box and all the boxes to what I have other than the 6467 car which I will still hunt for its box. She said well if you really want it why don't you get it well heres a pic of my purchase today
Late christmas gift no complants here.
If anybody's interested....
I'm a size O (and that's an O not a zero), not too picky about wether it's vintage or modern and I don't care if the color clashes with my handbag or shoes. Though I do confess a soft spot for basic black haute couture made in the 1950's!
Dave632, those are nice cars. Beautiful looking train! Bo

RTRAINCOLLECTOR - You can't beat those great looking 736's. They're great looking and they can "take a licking and keep on ticking".
I recieved a caboose and several cars for Christmas and am real pleased!
I really wanted the Lionel NYC Woodside Caboose and the Atlas M.D.T (NYC) Reefer. The boxcars were icing on the cake!

The detail is excellent on these. The six cars by themselves measure about 10 feet long. Even on 54" radius they have a tough time making some turns. I had to move several pieces of scenery and accessories to allow them to make it all the way around.
For the 10th year in a row, Santa with advice from the Chief gave me:
I knew this one was coming after the Great Roseyville Raid last January.
Celebrating 18 years on the CTT Forum.

Awesome gifts all around!
Santa was nice enough to bring me the pretty lady on the left.
Its interesting to compare the streamlined and nonstreamlined J1e.
"No childhood should be without a train!"
Some brand new NKP covered hoppers to go behind my Nickel Plate C-420.
I got a Lionel penn flyer starter set. Nothing fancy.
Lionel 2025 for me. Also got several items for my N scale layout.
I used my Christmas money for a Lionel NYC 6462 gondola and 256 illuminated freight station.
The Lehigh Valley Railroad, the Route of the Black Diamond Express, John Wilkes and Maple Leaf.
-Jake, modeling the Barclay, Towanda & Susquehanna.
My wife and I finally got around to exchanging Christmas presents today. She got me some mid 90's stuff - a 4-6-2 steamer in UP colors, a flat car with two automobiles, a gondola, a tank car, a wood sided reefer, a boxcar, and a lighted UP caboose. I have not chased it down yet, but I suspect that this might be the rolling stock of one of the sets that was offered in 1995.
Since my wife hates trains, I bought myself a K-Line Virginian Caboose, a Lionel gondola and a three dome tank car.
