Off to bed.  Early for me.  Reclinerized as was tired.  Got call earlier.  I am requested to attend an 8:00 AM meeting [yes, they have breakfast but that is not why].  Had planned on painting the front posts and railing to front stoop.  Got 11:00 AM here [someone else planned for me].  Sleep tight.

Good Evening.  John, will lift up prayer once this post is done.  Has become a practice of mine to pray once asked for...if I wait till evening prayers, I will forget.  My wife's friend in Findlay OH is dying of cancer at 45.  Lifting her up too.

Fife, glad to see you made it through the tight spot you found yourself in.  With this latest movie, we are working with a lot of cops/sheriff's officers.  While I have had a lot of friends in law enforcement, never got quite the education or feel of things like I have doing ride alongs with these guys.  Don't think I could do it.  We are hoping that this project will do some justice and made a difference.

Watching "War Stories" with Oliver North on the UAVs and other technology.  Glad we have such pieces in our arsenal to fight the bad guys.  Church tonight was very good.  I was needed on camera as the scheduled person had to bail out.  Following church, had a good meeting with some of the production staff and then had a good talk with Dad up in NJ.  Seems to be doing OK, but still is sad.

Heading off to bed, but hope that each of you have a blessed week ahead.
God Bless,
Dennis

Fife!  Glad you are hanging in there, buddy!

Wow - wife was very active today!  Went to lunch and the bookstore and then later even went out to dinner with the family and her Mom who is visiting this week.  Picked up mole poison, a new hose and a hose hanger to put next to the house.  Need to fill and stand up the base for the basketball net, guess after work tomorrow.

Tardis is ready and looking forward to the ride tonight!  Actually, a friend in England has already seen the newer Doctor Who and doesn't like this new actor.  We shall see.  TTFN!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Good evening all,

IIABSDISEI with temps in the 70s.  Games went well Saturday.  One was close and one was a blowout.  Race did not go well today.  AJF and SFR both had bad days.  'Nuff said.  We finally got a hose reel for the back yard.  Some assembly required never goes quite right, but it is functional.  I had bacon and biscuits both days on the dining car for breakfast.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

I did not get caught up on the last weeks posts. I got a call from a friend of mines wife that he is in the ICU unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa., since March 12. I visited after work yesterday and he is having a rough time. His wife was told that he my not make it. Please remember him in your thoughts and prayers.

Sunny and mid 70's today.

Test & tune went OK yeaterday.  Tried several different shock and spring settings.  Took the car from tight to loose.  The track dried out and went slick, so they shut down early.  Good news is that the driver really enjoyed the track.  Says that it is more of a driver's track than a set up track.  Lots of room too.

My #6660 boom car got here Friday.  It is a good one.  Great appearance, but the booms seem to be a little loose on the base bracket.

I don't remember who said that they went electrtic on their lawn mower.  Last fall, I got a reasonable deal on a battery powered mower.  So far so good.  Been thinking of mounting a couple of those LED flashlights on it so I can mow in the cool of the night.  Yes, it is that quiet.

All for now.

Sir J, I agree.  Once in a while I get caught with rain and etc and have too due to meetings all day on Monday.  Very sledom.  Also no chairsaws or weedeaters.  Wifey insisted on me trimming a big limb today.  I used a pruning saw instead of chainsaw.  I guess we are old fogies.

Later.

Just called his cell.  Left a VM for him to contact us.  We missed him.  We'll see.  Figure if something happened to him, Brent would know and post.  In fact Brent has not posted much lately either.  Been praying that their adoption thingy is going good and fast.  Also John F. has been missing too.  Maybe the hold bunch got zapped by aliens. Shock  Maybe send LAZ to recover them.

Good Afternoon everyone.  Has been a absolutely beautiful day here.  Church was great.  Doug, James MacDonald did a fantastic job.  He spoke on James 1:2," Count it all joy".  Was quite inspiring.  Know of a lot of hurting people that the message seemed directed toward them specifically.  If his material allowed to be put on a DVD, I will see about sending one to dad.

We were going to take the kids to the park after lunch today, but it is so nice out, they were content to just stay at home and play in the yard.  Lots of birds and flowers to make it both pretty and inviting.  I stayed on the couch and caught a nap.

I agree, the new site does seem to work well.  Just remember  that it may have a few bugs to work out should their be any problems, don't run away.  Give them a little time to work on it.

God Bless,
Dennis

thanks pat for bring it up.  the "email enabled" is not working for me either. have a friend who was a scout sniper in the marines, who was discharged after ten years cause his knees were no good.  he became a libertarian and has not paid taxes for 12 years.  he has been in and out of court.  so far they have not been able to convict him of a crime as he claims that paying taxes is not in  the constituition.  i do not have the nerve to try that.  jail is not my home of choice.  thanks chief for telling me that i was on the wrong coffee pot. navyjack

Morning guys - kids are doing their laundry, we had some donuts from QT for breakfast, and we have pizza to warm up for lunch.  I need to hit Home Depot for a new hose, mole repellant, mole killer, anti-mole mines, and anything else that will rid my lawn of these varmints.  Wife wants to go to the book store.  We'll see how that works out.

Chief.....looks like you have managed to keep Lucy looking good after the trip to the doggy spa.

Jon, thanks for your tip!.  I have always changed the (warm) motor oil at the end of the season for both the snowblower and the lawn mower.  Spark plug replacement too.  After that I add the gas stabilizer and run them for about 5-10 minutes to get the stabilizer throughout the fuel systems before retiring them until next season.  Then again I am not mechanically inclined so I need all the help I can get.   I take off the mower blade and have it sharpened while it is off duty and at least once again about mid season.   It is encouraging to see that properly fuel-primed these units fire right up months later without a visit to a repair facility.  Big Smile

The sun is breaking through and the temps are around 60, about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Later, gang.

Morning.  Wifey and I slept in.  Sunny and a lot warmer.

Where is Fifey?????  Guess he is out on his Yatchet. ?? Confused  I know he is not mad over our ribbing him.  He's a great jokester himself.

Two squirrels down [Lucy loves to catch them when they fall from the trees].  Poor thing chases them to the fence and has to stop.  Can't let her roam here like we do at the lake.  6 at the bird feeder this AM.  They also eat the woodpecker suiet. Disapprove

Have a great week.  Later.

Good Morning guys, Getting ready to head to church.  Was going to do some more posts over on the other respectable site, but after logging on and typing a post, when I went to send it, it told me I needed to Log on.  Gave up.

Doug, looking forward to catching pastor MacDonald's message.  I am not supposed to be on anything, but you know how that goes.

By the time we got home last night, we just went went out to eat and returned for violin practice and then bed.  Did get the latest Lionel catalog.  Going to place my pre-order.  I am real tempted on that new Hudson.

Gotta run.  Look for SPF later.

God Bless,
Dennis

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a sunny 50 degrees. Going up to 75 today with lots of sunshine.

Today is a busy day. Wife is due home from the Daughter's around noon. I have a few chores to do in the meantime. Then, I will relax, this afternoon, with the trains. It has been a quiet weekend. Next week, I start 3 days of PT, a week. That ought to be fun.

Dining car is here and it's the usual for breakfast.

Y'all have a great Sunday.

Aloha all. Wow, that's quite a ride, Chief, both on CTT and the cart Wink.  Looks like a nice but long day at church. Youngest singing at the services. Hope it clears up. Jon, good advice about the motors. Wish I knew that a while back. Now, I go electric with the mower. Nothing too tall to mow here anyway. Yet.
