Trust me, MTH is just as, if not more expensive than Lionel.

Personally I think there all out of line. I did buy a train set tonight but actually it is listed in the 2010 catalog $100 less than last year and I save $100 off of this years list price so feel I did Okay. basically if you goto different suppliers on line like Charles Ro, Trainz, Legacy Station, Hobby station, ect ect you can get some fair prices with thinking of the value of the dollar today. Its hard for me to justify $600 for a train set but then if you look at Williams by Bachmann some of there sets are advertised by them at 500-600 and they don't even have track and transformer. not sure of MTH trains but I can't believe there any cheaper.

I was just lookinking at lionel 2010 signiture cataloge and the prices are just out of this world to the point where the average consumer cannot afford. What is wrong with lionel are they nuts . well here i come mth.
