I too often say the wrong thing at the wrong time, or say the right thing at the right time but the wrong way! I hope this isn't one of them.

One of beatiful fallouts resulting from all of this talk of Brian (for those that don't know it's also a topic on the OGR forum) it that it has actually brought 2 rival forum groups together in harmony for a few days at least. Maybe this will be the impetous for ending the sometimes bad-feelings between the 2 groups. Isn't it nice knowing that we can actually be polite to each other (I'm in both groups BTW).

Hopefully this is two forum's thanks to Brian.

I hope that wasn't out of place. if it was let me know and I'll erase it.

Brian.

I hope everything is OK with you. I read your posts and you have a lot of really great ideas for people like me who like to run the old 027 stuff. I don't know what happened but I hope it isn't too serious. It looks like a lot of people are worried about you.

I don't know what this is all about and really don't need to. I guess all that I need to know is that 'something' that we wouldn't wish on anyone took place in Brian's life. I, like others, hope all is well for him.

he and I have kind of supported each other here and at the 'other' forum. It seemed whenever one or the other of us O27 guys needed backing we could count on the other to be there. Well, at least I knew I could ALWAYS count on Brian.

Take care of yourself fellow O27'er - walt

Here in Vermont I have many friends who've been "purged" by the IBM cut-backs. Almost to a man, they say it was the best thing that ever happened to them! One of them now works in the train industry!

Brian is incredibly bright, and has too much to offer the world to go away. And he is The Voice for us non-scalers!!!

I'm retired so I'm not hiring anymore. I think there is enough of us around to help him locate something. I know if anything comes up, I will let him know. God bless.

That's good news, Elliot. Thanks for sharing it. There's a thread at OGR about Brian, so I posted this news there, crediting you for the info.

I have every reason to believe that now that this is out in public, things will turn around for him. The out pouring of support was amazing to say the least. Proof once again that TRAIN GUYS ARE GOOD PEOPLE!!!!![^][bow]

Well guys, I just got an email from Spankybird. He has received an email from Brian. It seems that our friend was having computer problems. Bad timing to say the least.

I've learned my lesson here, and that is let's keep the topics light here in the forum and use emails for personal stuff!!![B)][:)]

Oh and Thanks Bergie, sorry to have bothered you.[:I]
