Smith Bros still needs more work:
Looks great guys!
I picked up the newly released 40' highcube OSU boxcar. I really like it.
I also picked up my first MTH buildings -
Have a great weekend!Wes
Isaly's! My favorite stop! Once a month Dad would take the family for a "treat". He would always order a cone with "Whitehouse" icecream. They still had the jukebox selectors at each booth. What a sound!
Thanks for the memories!
Wes (The other Wes!) LOL!
A couple of views of the Country Store. The kit is from Berkshire Valley, figures from Arttista and Woodland Scenics.
Pete, I've been following the progress of your layout and it's coming along great. I love that wharf scene.

Here is a one of a kind Marx 1666 I just purchased from Dr. John. John requested to see a few photos of the locomotive on the Jumijo, and I'm happy to oblige. The locomotive has brass piping and details applied to it. I added a little color to the tender with brass railings and some red striping and heraldry. A smoke unit was also added. I hope all the Marx fans out there get a kick out of seeing it.

Great work! Thanks for sharing!

Good Morning All:
I have actually made some real progress on my layout! But first:
Spanky:
I love that S gauge layout, where is it from?
Pete:
I too love your wharf area. Lars Lumber is fantastic. Great detail.
Wes:
I like your OSU train. Just be careful, it will derail if it goes through SEC country.
Dave:
Great pictures! How do you set up your lighting? By the way, you will see my track weathering pictures below. The good news is that other than some minor issues, the turnouts work fine. Thank you again for your feedback.
I have finished sculpting my hills:
My track has been weathered:
I also started wiring my remaining three signals, but I ran out of wire nuts. I hope to finish those today.
Regards,
JO
John, This S gauge layout is local in the Cleveland area. It is an L shape 35' x 25' .
Great pictures everyone,
John and Julie, the weathering looks great.
Wes, in one of the pictures, is that the rear of a set of B&O F3's?
Dave, your work amazes me.
Pete, amazing work, and even the lights for navigation into the harbor. That whole scene is really nice.
Spanky, that layout is missing one thing.....the 3rd rail
Envfocus, I love your layout.
Chief, when did you say you were sending me the Big Boy and Legacy? I'll PM you all my info
Very nice indeed.
Nick! :)
nice pics everyone
elevated section
JO, the weathered track looks great. I'm really not a good photographer. I find underlit seems to work better than over. I usually just rely on the rooms lighting and tweak the camera settings. I do reposition the tracklighting away fom the subject. My new camera seems to make up for my lack of knowledge.
Ray, that street scene looks great. You have me now searching the Model Tech Studios site lookingf at interior shelving for some stores along the layouts edge. Hopefully will see you at the Big E next Sat.
Spankybird,
Many thanks for sharing the pictures of a GREAT "S" gauge layout!
MORE! MORE! MORE!
Only one question.......
WHERE are the TRAINS??!???
A PRR consolidation taking on coal and sand.
A PRR K4s taking on water from repainted MTH water tower.
New motive power on the Baltimore, Ohio and Wabash Railroad. Thank you, Chuck!
Some really good photos this week. Now to get back up stairs and do some more wiring. Must be done but does not lend itself to great photos.

The builder / owner is no longer with us, thus the reason why this became a donation. Many of his trains - engines - rolling stock have been sold
We did receive a few items
Nice photos this week, Guys.
I always look forward to Sunday Photo Fun.
Glad you like it, Buckeye.

Hello Brent:
Your benchwork is looking great! I wish I had a layout that big. My switches did not have any major issues after the weathering. My only problem is where one turnout goes right into another turnout, I had to do a really good job cleaning the rails and rail joiners. I suspect the problem is more with the brand of switch (Atlas) than the weathering since they have been touchy from the day I got them.
No time for a "coke"!

Those are Kline F7 B&O A and B units. Both have dual motors.
NewbieLady wrote:Hi Everyone. We finally added an MTH subway set (the #6 IRT R-17 Redbirds) to our elevated loop. Just need to replace that trestle set with something that looks like a "real" el, and we're in business! Have my eye on steel el pillars I have bookmarked somewhere...
More pictures please!
Pete in W'berg - That's gonna be a cool layout,
Dave C - still waiting for my CTT with your photos.
88 - coming along.
Nice photos from some of our "newbies" and also from some of our ol' favorites.
Greetings from the extremely cold Heartlands where it was the perfect day to stay inside and visit with the hobo's. This is one of our favorite scenes on the layout, great color's. Remember to click on the photo's to enlarge. Enjoy.
