Hi all,
Got the Tree up on Friday. Here's some pics of Charlie with our first round the tree layout.
Happy Christmas
Nick & Charlie
Just finished building a pair of trucks from brass (the straps, springs and bearings) and wood (bolster, journal). Paint is still wet in this picture.
Good morning all. I apologize ahead of time that even with a digital camera, my skills are lacking...My oldest daughter now has the train bug. Here is what she set up next to our tree:
The horses are her big love. These are from her own toy horse stash.
Here is my 262e and 500 series passenger cars 'staged' on the Xmas layout:
The venerable 2332 approaches...
Here are some pics of one of our OTTS members Christmas Layout.

Got GW Dunn & Sons in position. Had wanted to do a chain link fence around this, but that is turning into more work than I could ever hope to do:
Note the use of the world's leading ground cover materials obtained from Brennan's Model Railraoding, International.
I am really pleased with the finished product on this sign:

HA! You'll have to wait quite a while, she's only 8.
Clean Up in the Hot Chocolate Car! Spilt CoCoa everywhere! Even Tom Hanks didn't have to face those kinds of perils on the way to the North Pole!
Great Pictures. He looks like he's having some fun!
Here are a few pictures from the train display at the E-town Library.
They had a 57 car Reading coal train running on the layout. Mostly O gauge, but some G, Std. & N as well.
May I introduce you to the Polar Express.
Great photos everyone!

Very nice photos all.
Jefelectric that must have been a sight to see. Did the engines have RailSounds on? They look TMCC to me, from the photo.
Buckeye I like the idea of having the snow lit up.
Even Percy is in the spirit.
These are some of the cars I put together the last few years.
sweeeeet!
Chief must've snuck some carpet fibers in my food when we met last month. I woke up with an irresistable urge to . . .
CARPET RUN!!!!
Mrs did a great job on the tree, as always.
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Yes, and I'm working hard to get off the carpet and everyone seems to be moving down to it.
Will try to get picture of my lastest purchase at train meet [FRANK53, get this]. Another 2055. Post War again. Also, suppose to pick up Jim A's 736 by the end of next week [for me and not him ]. Ran the repainted conventional NS switcher on the big room temp track. Ran good and all over the place with no problems.

Colin, The three outside loops that go all the way around the layout are TMCC. The smaller lloops in the center of the layout are generally run conventional. The Reading FA units in one of the pictures are mine & have the dummy running in front with the video camera looking through the windshield. I loaned it to them to run. It works fine when they have the room lights on but not to great when they dim the lights. One of the things that I found interesting is that 50 of those hopper cars were loaned to the layout by an O scale modeler and have scale trucks and couplers. He rigged the front car with one dummy Lionel coupler as an adapter. They ran fine on the outside fastrack loop, even going though 4 switches on every lap with no derailments while I was there. They were pulled by the two unit Reading diesel run as a lashup.
