Good day everyone. glad you liked the ONR shot CM3. it's al ittle known railway for the most part outside of Ontario itself , but it has it's own charm and some interesting operations and a neat mix of equipment. where else can you see SD70's and GP7's and 9's in regular every day service.Today's shots.

Ahoy Cap'n Tom!
Sad day for me - but it must be done . . . Last visit ovAH here for the foreseeable futAH . . .
Only regret is that we didn't attract very many guys who have been willing to ENGAGE - lots 'n lots of browsers, but I guess that's the nature of things here in cyber space where it's so easy to TAKE, but so much harder to GIVE.
Anyway - good luck to all the guyz ovAH at my favorite watering hole "Our" Place!
Until the next time!
Lars
A couple interesting oddballs from the bossman here's today's from myself.

F-units and drumheads good group for the day donchathink. to bad CN did away with those F's once they assumed control of the ACR from the WC. Intresting note that the Algoma never purchased F units those were brought in by the WC when they assumed control in the 90's and specifically put them and the domes on the Agawa Canyon train . At least CN has left the domes on the train.
What a beauty that Algoma Central unit is! Nice one, Rob!
Some drumheads for this day . . .

Continuing support from the bar crew is keeping this place alive - want to recognize our friend up near Winnipeg for his visits too!
This has been seen way back 'n fits in with our "non theme" lately . . .
<personal foto taken from hotel room window in downtown Toronto>
The only thing that would have been better is a B unit in between I suppose with all the sound equiped E's and F's out there now we can almost re-create those sounds and feelings.
Good Morning
Hane enjoyed all of the Canadian material lately. Commented on Lars's WP book at the bar. At least they ran the Fs in the correct way. Always had a problem with elephant style. Southern Crescent often had 4 Es for power; two pair back to back - that was O.K. Would like to go back in the time machine and hear them load up leaving town once more.
work safe
morning folks a little something to keep her moving along over here.
A Classic FP7 "yanking the varnish" through Burlington West early 80's
Hello all just keeping in out of the slush, never figured it could fall from the sky during a mid february thunderstorm but oh well, could be worse.Neat tat there Kurt,I see the Larsman's popped by with a weekly book "covah" as well
Here's one of my favourite loco's also from teh good old(er) days of CN railroading.
Back again, if not just briefly with a submssion for this mid-week day . . .
I see the guyz are keeping things rollin' along! Now that fella with the tatoo - I think he "wins the prize" for most devout CN fan! <grin>
Ah another Greg McDonnell fan, great book too, love his appreciation of the 40' boxcars, another good one is Passing Trains, the Ten-Hundred Territory being my fav, as a GMD-1 fan, Signatures In Steel is the first one i read from Transcona Libby, and it is a superb book, and check out my GMD-1 1600 A1A trucked diesel tattoo, my tribute to the good Canadian National before Hunter Harrison came along
