PRR's Tuscan Red equipment with the 5 gold pinstripes for sure - so elegant

A couple of choices: Erie's two-tone green passenger colors, BRC black and gray with yellow trim (the difference from today is in the details), Monon red and gray and IHB with the orange lightning stripe.
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

There's an embarasment of riches for that period as most were such a vast improvement over current schemes where the primary consideration is cost (with the exception of BNSF). Assuming that you mean trains as opposed to engines; SP Daylight, GN Empire Builder, and IC Panama Limited
