Heartland Flyer vs. Flooding
Posted by hf1001 on Saturday, July 7, 2007 3:31 PM
The flash flooding of Oklahoma and Texas forced the Flyer to stop service for a few number of days and transported passengers on busses. In Gainesville, Tx there was over 2 ft. of water on the tracks. The first day after the flooding that the train ran, It was 3 and a half hours late into Fort Worth, Texas. Now the Heartland Flyer is back on it's schedule from running from Oklahoma City, Ok to Fort Worth, Tx with delays as usual.Laugh [(-D]

Not sure what happened, but a few months ago the Hearland flyer was actually running on time or ahead of schedule.  Great scenery in Oklahoma on the train.
