10 months to forge agreements with two railroads and multiple local gov'ts? 

 

Ambitious.

Wonder if it was found difficult to find revenue cars?  Getting any cars with retention tanks where? HEP?  Also, getting locos might be very difficult?  Amtrak locos and / or T&E?  Highly unlikely!

Ok, so in between the rain storms, can someone from California comment on this effort?   I find it suspicious this close to start up they do not have a decent website open yet.    They are supposed to start in Summer of 2024.    Also the website landing page below is rather flat and unimaginative as far as marketing effort.   I can see they are sponging off the former NYC flagship service, which is also a high bar to meet.    So I am leaning toward this is all a giant tease and nothing will happen.
