All that nonsense and Bovine Scat.  There's been a bridge there since 1907, and a railroad before then, and the planet hasn't disintegrated as a result. 

I used to think of environmental impact studies as a genuine effort to protect the natural world, now I can't help but think of them as a racket in their own right. Someone's making money off of them, don't you think?

I suppose it'll take several infrastructure disasters before people wake up and realize the red tape's gotten out of hand.
