In our state (N.D.), you're allowed to go into "executive" (closed) session when the subject is filed lawsuits to which you're a party.

Does California have an "Open Meetings Act"?  If they do, some one will challange the closed sessions, even if in some instantses they may have been allowed unded such an act.

Note 5 case numbers almost in numerical order.   Interesting   HUMM.   Wonder if thoses 5 are all filed by same firm ?  Ambulance chasiing ?
