I'll bet THAT got your attention!

You think these folks were trying to beat the Chinese to a flying electric car?  Check it out!

The car hardly looks damaged and its not at a crossing- I wonder where it drove onto the tracks?

The driver apparently put the Tesla into drive instead of reverse, responders said.

Driver needs a session of retraining.

I'm guessing it came out of the parking lot you can see on the right side of the first photo.  At any rate he must have hit the accelerator with a vengeance!

I've never driven a Tesla but a friend drove a Tesla roadster. He said he was told to put one foot on the brake, one foot on the "gas" and then take his foot off the brake. He said it was like being shot out of a cannon. I'm guessing that the driver of this car may not have understood how to properly drive it and it got away from him (or her.)

This one had Hyrail+ mode.

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

Jeez, I just read that section of the Tesla manual.  I'm NEVER getting in one of those things!

I don't know if the guy who wrote the manual has a weird sense of humor or what.

I was in the back seat of a Audi e-Tron GS during a "Launch Mode" demo. It only remains engaged for 2.5s  We were definatly reached over 60mph and I felt like a astronaut in a centrifuge.

I feature the driver knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and in do so expected his passenger to develop skid marks on his undies.  What is the fun in having friends if you can't scare them half or three quarters to death.

Worse than that.  It was probably written by Elon Musk.

The Onion staff recently filed an Amicus Brief with the US Supreme Court.
