RR related Isaias preparations if any.
Posted by blue streak 1 on Friday, July 31, 2020 10:26 PM

The latest National hurricane center track has Isaias center going up the east coast just east of New York city Tuesday Afternoon.  Full moon is late Monday - Tuesday morning a repeat of "Sandy" ?  Hopefully Isaias will change course and / or become weaker than Sandy.

Has anyone heard of any preparations by NJ Transit, Amtrak, LIRR, MNRR or NY MTA ?  Or are all of them going to wait until Monday to do anything?  This poster feels we were remiss in not getting the word out of how  seriousness Sandy could be before she hit.  Hope someone can push awareness on the various rail operators this time ?

Less than 48 hours before Isaias passes abeam of NY City and nothing yet posted  about what all of NY MTA, NJ Transit, and Amtrak are going to do.  Let us hope that this is not going to be a repeat of the non preparations that occrred before "SANDY"  ? ? ?
