The 4449 is in a shed in Portland, Oregon. She is currently in the Daylight paint scheme. SP 4449 was painted in the American Freedom Train again in 2002 until 2003 or 2004.

His PA is not a shell.

The Missabe Road: Safety First
The members of the Olympic Model Railroad Society and the Olympia NMRA clinic members made a small effort to record the passing of SP4449 and UP844 throught the Tenino / Olympia/ Steilacoom (Washington) areas as the Special made it's way north on the BN mainline. Thanks for taking the time to visit. There are many good photos on other sites. Just google UP844 and you can find lots of places to see good photos and video. John Nelson, Sec. OMRS
4449, in "Daylight" paint, is currently housed somewhere in Portland, Oregon, under the care of Doyle McCormack. It and the rest of his collection are looking for a home.
I don't know about the remainder of the train.

4449 ran double headed with UP 844 in May - should be lots of photos surfacing about those runs.
