Is that normal to stop to let air build up?

Air pressure is required to control the train - if the air pressure in the trainline is less than required - the SAFE course is to stop the train and investigate the reason(s) for the low air pressure, correct the problems and buld the trainline pressure back to the required level before proceeding.
